2007
* The Indiana Partnership to Prevent Violent Injury and Death (IPPVID) received a Clarian Spiritual
Values Grant to educate faith leaders about domestic violence for a two-year period.
* The IPPVID compiled five years of firearm morbidity and mortality data for Marion County in an
effort to better understand the circumstances surrounding the shootings that occur.
* The IPPVID collaborated with the Centers of Hope to collect and analyze sexual assault data to
better determine trends and prevention strategies.
* The IPPVID collaborated with the Marion County Crime Lab to collect and analyze crime lab data to
determine type of weapon used in shootings that occur in Marion County.
* The IPPVID presented a poster presentation about its firearm injury and death data surveillance
system at the 2007 National Injury and Violence Prevention Research Conference in Columbus, Ohio.
